   What Is A Good Diet?


There is a vast amount of misinformation being spread around about diet, health, sickness, disease, food, nutrition, cancer, drugs, weight loss, etc... life in general.

Raw fruits are the best cleansers of the human body, and raw vegetables are the best feeders and healers. The reason raw vegetables are the best healers is that vegetables are higher in most nutritional content than fruit, especially mineral content. Raw fruits are great cleansers because they are quickly digested and their fiber is able to flush out our system.

Did you know that plants draw minerals up through the ground and during the photosynthesis process attach enzymes which change the inorganic minerals into organic minerals that our bodies need and can use? Plants are a better food.

Did you know that garlic is your best defense against so many illnesses it's almost suicide not to eat it? Garlic contains at least 33 sylph-containing compounds (alicin is one of them). Sulfur - containing foods are used to break down and remove harmful pollutants in the body such as lead, mercury, LDL (low density lipoproteins, the "bad" cholesterol), calcium deposits, liver and internal parasites and many kinds of mold and fungi. Garlic in fact converts LDL to HDL (high density lipoproteins, the "good" cholesterol).

Garlic has been used for lowering the blood pressure, colds, coughs, asthma, dysentery, gastrointestinal disorders, TB, diabetes, anemia, cancer, pneumonia and arthritis. Garlic was used for hundreds of years for impotence. Scientists are now showing it to increase spermatogenesis, making men more potent. Eat lots of garlic.

Eat foods as close to the way they grow as possible. Make between 75% to 85% of your food intake raw vegetables. Cooking kills food.

Cleaning your fruits and vegetables is very important, along with cleaning the preparation surfaces.

Get rid of your aluminum cookware and replace with stainless steel. Get rid of baking powder products that include aluminum. Aluminum has been proven to cause many problems.

There are 23 amino acids (protein) we need. Our bodies produce 15 of these, so we only need 8 from the foods we eat. There are many vegetables and fruits that contain all eight essential amino acids including carrots, brussel sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, corn, cucumbers, eggplant, kale, okra, peas, potatoes, summer squash, sweet potatoes, tomatoes and bananas.

Eliminate all animal products; meat, dairy and eggs. Eliminate all products containing white sugar. Use raw unfiltered honey instead. Eliminate all white flour and table salt. If you absolutely must use salt, use sea salt. Sea salt has not been combined with chlorine. Use whole grain flour instead of white flour. Use a baking powder like "Rumford's". It does not contain aluminum. Eliminate all products containing hydrogenated oil. (Margarine, Crisco-type oils, peanut butter, etc.) Use nut butter instead. Use only extra virgin olive oil and raw flax oil. Cold pressed oils; canola and safflower are okay, but extra virgin olive oil is much better.

Avoid concentrated fruit juices. They have been heated to 350 degrees and have lost almost all of their nutrients. Avoid all canned vegetables, fried potatoes in any form, corn chips and potato chips.

The human body is made up of about 60 trillion cells. In order for these cells to function properly they must be maintained in a healthy environment including a temperature of 98.6 degrees, a proper acid/alkaline balance of 7.4pH, providing the cells with pure air and pure water, all the necessary minerals and elements and keeping the cells free from stress. If we can do this the cells will live, function and re-create themselves without any problems. Cancer cells cannot live well in an alkaline environment.

DAILY:
Personal Note: Radically switching diets may be difficult. It is for most of us. It's a good idea to gradually switch over a period of time. Using Fiberblend regularly during and for three months after switching will cleanse your system and eradicate parasites.

For breakfast eat some juicy fruits. Remember you're breaking-your-fast. The last thing you want to do is jam a bunch of donuts, pancakes, etc. into your empty stomach.

Exercise by walking 15 minutes the first day. Walk 30 minutes the second day. Add 15 minutes per day until you are up to an hour. Don't just drag either. Walk briskly. When you are walking a mile in an hour, you're doing well. Keep it up.

Breathe slow deep breaths. It will give your cells plenty of oxygen. It takes practice to retrain yourself to breathe properly without thinking about it. Try it, it's hard to keep doing without thinking about it, yet it is the way to breathe normally.

For lunch eat a salad and drink vegetable juices, especially carrot juice. Get a juicer , experiment with carrots, beets, celery, pineapple, guava, etc. Drink 16 to 24 ounces of fresh vegetable juice each day. Drink distilled water. Get a water distiller and get rid of the rock in your water and your body. If your away from home or distilled water is not available, eat plenty of raw fruits and vegetables. which contain a high percentage of pure, naturally distilled water. It takes about 15 gallons of distilled water to grow one ounce of vegetation.

Eat a dark green leafy salad. Garnish with nuts; pistachios, cashews, tabouli, sunflower seeds, (but not every day) and/or fruits; bananas, apples, dates, figs, etc.

You can make a super salad dressing with 2-3 garlic cloves, 2 green onions, 1 bunch of parsley, 1 cup olive oil, 1 avocado in a blender (dash of chili powder).

You're going to look at veggies and fruits in a whole different light from now on. Look for different ways to eat fresh food. Get into it. Make your own different fruit smoothies.

For dinner eat vegetables, especially the dark, leafy green kind (never iceberg or head lettuce, it's virtually void of any nutrition), spinach, broccoli, cauliflower, celery, turnips, squash, carrots, etc. The list goes on and on. You get the idea. If you're going to cook or more preferably lightly steam your vegetables, this is the time to do it. When you steam, wait until the water is rapidly boiling before you add the vegetables. This helps to lock in the nutrients. Prepare baked potatoes, sweet potatoes, brown (not white) rice, lightly steamed vegetables. Make some pinto beans, smash 'em up, get some whole wheat flour tortillas and salsa and have some bean burritos. Experiment. It's fun.

What about fish? If the fish came from a good fish farm it's probably okay, but be sure. Fish from our rivers, lakes and oceans have been contaminated with the same stuff we've dumped into them.

Later in the evening as a snack, have a glass or two of fresh apple juice or a piece of juicy fruit.

Sleep by going to bed earlier and earlier until you wake up early in the morning on your own feeling refreshed and ready to go. Then you'll know your sleep schedule.

IMPORTANT:
When you begin to change your diet, don't be hard on yourself if you "blow" it.  Even if you blow it, you're better off than you were before. Being hard on yourself is the reason most people say, "I can't do it", and go back to the old way of eating. Just laugh, pick up and go again.

After changing to the correct way of eating, including using BarleyGreen and Fiberblend, it will take about 3 months to detoxify and get your system in order but then you'll be a new person. Your body will thank you.

The truth is there is something you can do about health problems. You don't have to be sick. There is a way to live a longer, fuller life with more energy. You're the one who has to do something about it. You can't eat and drink anything you want, any time you want and then run to the doctor because you've been feeding yourself trash for years and expect him or her to correct your problem in a few days. Many times it's too late.

Maybe the second question gives us a clue to the first. Technology and medical science don't have all the answers! Only 29 of the 129 state accredited medical schools in America require ANY nutritional training and of those 29, only an average of 6 hours! Question: Why? Answer: The oldest one of all, the pride of man. WE can come up with the answers. WE can develop better drugs. WE can develop better technology. "Anyway it can't be as simple as nutrition, can it?"

"I give you every seed bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air and all the creatures that move on the ground -everything that has breath in it- I give every green plant for food. And it was so." The answer to why people get sick in the first place is surprisingly very simple. It's what we eat and what we drink! It's what we put in our bodies. Most men would throw a fit if a mechanic put the wrong weight oil in their car or a prankster put sugar in the car's gas tank. Why? Because it won't run right.

The same example applies to our bodies which are obviously more important. You've heard it said, "Physically, you are what you eat" right? Wrong! Physically, you are what your body can assimilate. Your body can't use some of the things you put in it. For example, it can't use inorganic calcium (pasteurized milk) and other inorganic minerals. It can't use the carbon dioxide found in soda pop. (We exhale carbon dioxide, remember?)

God says, "Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is -His good, pleasing and perfect will." (Romans 12:2 NIV)

Speaking of bodies...

We're all going to die someday. That's a fact. If you have never made Jesus your Savior (from so many things), you have everything to gain. All of the love, grace, wisdom and blessings of a Father who loves you and who is God and the benefits of being a child of the King of the universe and a joint heir with Christ Jesus could be yours, both now and after you pass from this life.

Right now, simply believe in your heart and say, "Jesus, come into my life. Be my Savior from everything I need saved from. Fill me with your Holy Spirit. Live your life in me. Lead me and I will follow you. Thank you Jesus for saving me."

(That's where we get the term "born again") You are a new creation and old things have passed away. You now will spend eternity in Heaven with Jesus instead of in Hell with Satan.
